You may be a new RPer who has come here to apply for their character for the first time, and don't quite know what to do. That's okay, just consult this helpful list of instructions to start you off:
How to reserve a character:
We have a list of characters posted where we show you every character available and taken. To reserve a character, you reply to the post asking for it. You'll then get a reply from one of the helpful admins saying that you have a week to post up your application. If you want to reserve an OC but the country isn't listed up there, that's because we do not want to be listing every country to ever exist. That would be a very large post. Don't be afraid to just ask for your OC (or genderbent character) like you would with any existing ones, and the country will be added to the list.
Completing the application:
First time RPers often have trouble with this, so don't worry if you do to. What you are meant to do is make a new topic for your application, and title it appropriately (E.G. "Arthur Kirkland/England Application"). This way, you save time and confusion. If you accidentally post your application as a reply to the application template, or as a reply to the character list, do not fret, because it's easy enough for an admin to move the post to its own topic, and no harm done. Remember to fill out everything in the application, as everything is required (and take special care with reading the rules).
Your profile:
Do not sign up with your character's name before you've been accepted, this is not only considered arrogant, but can also cause confusion. Sign up with a nick-name, or a play on the character's country name. It doesn't matter as long as we can identify you with it. Your profile picture must feature only your character, and not a pairing or a completely irrelevant picture of, say, yourself. If you prefer to fill out information, feel free to fill it out as either your own or your character's, but most people prefer to fill out their character's information.
When making a post:
If you want to make a post open to everyone, you label it [Open] after the title so that people know they can hop in. If you want to thread with a specific person, label it [Name of the person you're RPing with], and if you want to thread with more than one person in a specific order, label it [Person one > Person two > Person three].
