Appearance: Sakura is rather pretty. She's petite, standing at only about 5'2", and thin, with small features, a small nose, long fingers and a small, pretty mouth. Her eyes, on the other hand, are somewhat large, giving her an innocent doe like appearance. She's relatively pale, as it is the fashion, and she doesn't like going outside, but of course, she is not completely white, being Japanese. Her hair is short, framing her face in a bob, and dark black. She is very conscious about her appearance, having been taught from a young age that how she looks is very important. She does not put on makeup all the time, but when she is going to work or to university, she makes sure to put on a little make up to make sure she looks her very best.
She is very fond of kimonos, and she has a small collection in England, though the majority is home in Japan. She wishes she could wear them more often, but she knows that they are old fashioned and she would stick out, so usually she wears simple, modest western clothes apart from on special occasions. She wears long skirts and sometimes jeans, along with plain, simple shirts or blouses. She has very little chest to speak of, so sometimes she will buy men’s clothes, as they fit better. She's very capable of modifying them so they are more fitted. She used to buy clothes at charity shops and modify him, but recently, she's had to get rid of these, due to her power.
Personality: Sakura is very quiet, and somewhat shy. She doesn’t have many friends, as she doesn’t like to engage people in conversation. However, she is very close with the ones she does have, and very loyal. It takes a lot for her to turn on a friend. She’s polite and quiet, and believes in respect, giving it to all those around her. She appears quite innocent and naive, but really, she's got a perverted side. She just doesn't think this is a thing that should be broadcast to the public. Sometimes, she's even disgusted at herself for being an even partially sexual creature, but she knows she can't change it. If someone asked her, she would tell them she was asexual.
She doesn't like physical contact. She's not fond of hugs or people holding her hand. She only likes to touch people when she's in control, so if she initiates it. Anyone who touches her without warning or from behind is likely to be hit or kicked. She will, however, be very apologetic after this has happened. She isn't very violent, but sometimes she believes it's necessary, and she isn't very sympathetic when it comes to those times. If people get hurt in the process of protecting the majority of people, it's for the best. You can't save everyone, after all. She struggles to identify with other people, occasionally. Her sense of empathy is pretty poor, which is why it's such a shock to her with her new found Psychometry.
Likes:
- Sushi and other fish based foods; her favorite being salmon
- Sweets; she has a real sweet tooth and loves chocolate, sweets and desserts, especially French pastry. One of the few times she'll be found messy is when she's eating a cream filled dessert.
- Art; She loves to draw, from manga to more traditional Asian and western art. She will try all different forms, but enjoys using her tablet to make digital art.
- History; she would have to, seeing as she's trying to get a masters in it.
- Technology; As well as looking back at the past, she's fascinated by new technology the future. She's very tech savvy and likes having the latest gadgets.
- Hentai; Weirdly, though she has no interest in sex and is embarrassed when it's mentioned, she loves hentai and keeps a large collection.
- Old weapons; Especially Japanese swords
Dislikes:
- Indecency; public nudity, or even just the wrong conversation in public for example. She thinks certain things should be kept private
- Health food; Food should taste good. Whether it is good for you is irrelevant! (she likes salt too much to like health food)
- Crowds; She doesn't like it when there are too many people, like at parties. She's much more likely to be friendly and open up when there are fewer people.
- Insects; If they get too close to her, she'll panic and just kill them.
- Skimpy clothing; She hates having to wear skimpy clothing, especially in public. She would never cosplay because of it. (that and being seen as an otaku is embarrassing)
- Strangers; she's very hostile until she knows you at least a little bit. It's not easy to make friends with her, unless you're persistent or you know a friend of hers.

History: Sakura was born in a small village not far from Hokkaido to a loving family. They accepted that she wasn't much like normal girls. She was very shy, and didn't have many friends and didn't speak much. But she was obviously very intelligent, she was a talented artist and could write very well, and when she spoke, she did so very clearly. She did very well at school, coming in top in the little school in her village. But she always felt like she wasn't being stretched enough there.
Some weekends, she'd take the train in to the city, to go to the bookstores or go clothes shopping, though most of what she was given were hand me downs from her extended family. She would buy things at the large bookshop, history books or manga and she would press her nose up against the windows of the electronic stores. When her parents got her a new mobile phone, she took her old one and took it apart, studying each of the different parts. Also when she was in the city, she would go to the museums, to learn about her history and it fascinated her.
She felt like for university, though, rather than the local university that most of her peers were planning on going to, she needed of a challenge. So as well as applying to study history at the top Japanese universities, she applied to international universities as well, including one in London. She jumped on the chance when she was accepted to the on in London. She'd never really been outside Japan before, and to go to a big city like London seemed so exciting! So much better than her small village which didn't even have a bookshop.
Sometimes she misses her family, especially since she doesn't have many friends in England yet, even though she's lived in London since she was 18. She moved to Gracefield when she was 21, as the rent was cheaper than her old place, and closer to her new place of work, a local newspaper, where she works as an editor and does the occasional illustration. She stays mostly to herself, but a few people, who are persistent enough, have managed to befriend her.
Details of their powers: When she puts on a piece of clothing that belonged to a person, she can sense the most significant events that happened to them, for example, if she put on a pair of shoes someone wore on their wedding day, she would be able to feel the happiness they had felt. In its undeveloped state, she can only sense emotions but as she becomes more practiced she will also be able to see images of the actual memory. The strength of the feelings also controls how much she feels.
When she comes close enough to a photograph or a painting, the events inside the image come to life. Often, this means people talking about taking a picture, so it isn’t very interesting. Eventually, it may be possible for her to interact with the image, or even move in to it, for a brief time, but the chances of her doing this, especially on purpose is low. She would not be able to stay in the image, or even move out of the parameters of the photograph either. Neither would the person who was captured in the image be able to remember her in real life; it is not time travel.
RP Sample: [From an RP where she’s an assassin]
Sakura stood in front of the mirror, carefully tying up her kimono. Today, for this party, the blue one with birds stitched in to it. It was absolutely beautiful, a present that she had been given as a reward for her most recent, to replace the one that had been covered in blood.
She carefully lined her lips with a red colour and darkened her eyelashes, batting them in the mirror momentarily, to see if she had applied it correctly. Then, she took a set of knives from her drawer, lifting up the kimono to attach one to a strap on her leg, placing one in her hair, covering it with a flower. Satisfied that all the knives had been properly placed and were hidden, she turned to the door.
The music from the ball travelled down the corridor, soft violins with the most beautiful Germanic songs. She paused for a moment, awestruck, to listen. For a moment, she was distracted in the distorted, echoed music. But it was over very soon; she had a job to do, and continued down the corridor to the ball.
